Manchester United’s Position on Potential Jadon Sancho Sale to PSG
Manchester United’s position regarding a potential transfer of Jadon Sancho to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has come to light amidst reports suggesting that Sancho is nearing an agreement on personal terms with the French club.
Sancho has returned to United after spending the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
The English winger joined the Bundesliga team following a publicized fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag. However, recent reports indicate that Sancho has returned to training with United, with both parties agreeing to put their differences aside and collaborate once more.
Sancho was indeed included in United’s starting lineup for their pre-season match against Rangers on Saturday.
The 24-year-old played for 45 minutes as United secured a victory over Rangers at Murrayfield.
Earlier today, a surprising report from The Peoples Person claimed that PSG is “close to agreeing personal terms” with Sancho for a potential move to Paris.
Sancho has been suggested as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who has recently left Luis Enrique’s squad to join La Liga giants Real Madrid.
However, according to TBR Football, Manchester United currently has no intention of selling Sancho to PSG, making it increasingly likely that the winger will continue to play at Old Trafford next season.
“TBR Football now understands that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to test United’s new position and have submitted an enquiry for Sancho.”
“Ten Hag has now patched up his differences with Sancho after the pair’s high-profile falling out. The situation has changed to the extent that United are not actively looking to sell Sancho, and definitely won’t loan him out.”
“PSG are now assessing the situation with Sancho but could still be tempted to make a move despite United’s stance, given their need to bolster their attacking options.”
Sancho is not the only Manchester United player reportedly attracting interest from PSG.
It is believed that the reigning Ligue 1 champions are also interested in United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes.
