Manchester United Winger Antony Set to Stay and Fight for Place Despite Transfer Rumors
Manchester United’s Brazilian winger Antony is staying put at Old Trafford, despite recent rumors linking him to a potential move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that there is “no truth” to the reports, and Antony remains committed to Manchester United’s project, aiming to improve his form after a difficult season.

Having joined United from Ajax in 2022 for a hefty £82 million, Antony struggled last season, contributing just three goals and two assists across 38 appearances.
His form has seen him slip down the pecking order, with young talents like Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho earning more minutes.
However, Antony is determined to regain his spot, with Romano stating that the winger had “no intention” of leaving this summer.
Antony’s performance in the 2023/24 Premier League campaign hasn’t been stellar, with stats showing him ranked 16th in match rating and 10th for key passes per game among the United squad.
Despite this, he remains hopeful of rediscovering the form he showed early in his United career, where he scored three goals in his first three league games and helped secure a crucial Europa League win over Barcelona.
With three more years on his contract, Antony still has time to prove his worth, but he will need to sharpen his end product to secure a consistent place in Erik ten Hag’s starting XI.
