Manchester United Plot Summer Moves: Eberechi Eze and Lewis Dunk Among Key Targets
Manchester United are reportedly already planning their summer transfer strategy, focusing on key positions to strengthen the squad, according to a new report. Despite a busy summer, Erik ten Hag’s side has had a slow start to the season, which has prompted the club to identify potential signings for next year.
One of the key names being linked with United is Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has caught the eye with his performances, and United view him as a potential addition to their attacking options.
With United reportedly looking to sell Antony, who could be heading to Newcastle United for around £40 million, Eze is seen as a possible replacement.
Eze, who has a release clause of £68 million, would represent an upgrade, and his creative flair has been praised by figures like Declan Rice, who referred to him as a “wizard.”
United are also interested in Brighton defender Lewis Dunk. Although Dunk, 32, provides leadership and experience, his age may lead United to consider other options for their defensive targets. They have also scouted Ali Şahin Yılmaz, a young Turkish defender, showing that they are exploring both experienced and emerging talent.
In addition, the Red Devils are eyeing players across the defense, midfield, and attack, indicating they are laying the groundwork for a broader squad rebuild next summer.
