Manchester United Set to Finalize Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay Transfers as Juventus and Napoli Make Moves
Manchester United’s transfer dealings are heating up as the summer window nears its close. Among the key developments are the potential moves of Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay, with both players seemingly on the verge of exits from Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho’s Situation:
Juventus are reportedly interested in acquiring Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, but two significant conditions must be met for the deal to proceed.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus would need to convince United to agree to a loan deal for Sancho that would last until the end of the season.
Additionally, Juventus would require United to cover the majority of Sancho’s wages to make the transfer feasible. If these conditions are satisfied, there is a strong possibility that Sancho could make the switch to Turin before the transfer deadline.
Scott McTominay’s Imminent Exit:
Scott McTominay appears to be on the brink of leaving Manchester United for Napoli. Reports indicate that the two clubs have already exchanged the necessary documents to finalize the transfer.
The deal, reportedly worth £25 million, will see the Scotland international head to Naples on a permanent basis. McTominay is expected to travel to Naples shortly to complete his medical and finalize the move.
These potential transfers are part of a busy summer for Manchester United, which has seen several new signings as the club bolsters its squad under the guidance of the Ineos Group, which is now in charge of football operations at Old Trafford.
Among the new arrivals are Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui. Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte is also set to join United in a €60 million (£51 million) deal, marking another significant addition to Erik ten Hag’s squad.
